Jungle Rumble & Bowlarama

Jungle Rumble:

Jungle Rumble, situated on Bath Street – just off Buchanan Street, is yet another mini golf classic! Players can choose to play one of two adventure golf courses – Surfer’s Paradise and Indian Ocean – and enjoy a night full of drinks in one of their two jungle themed bars. Although, in my opinion, Jungle Rumble isn’t quite as good as Golf Fang (Blog 1), Jungle Rumble do offer extensive packages – starting at a minimum of £5pp, and student discounts – making it a more affordable night out for students!


Feeling thirsty? Don’t worry, Jungle Rumble offers a variety of classics drinks, including their renowned slushie’s and limited-edition Halloween themed cocktails, accompanied by a limited selection of snacks including nachos, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeno bites!

Bowlarama:


Bowlarama, situated in Merchant City, in Glasgow city centre is yet another bowling favourite! Whether you’re looking for a quick visit, or planning on staying out all night, then Bowlarama is perfect for students as it is open until the early hours of the morning every day of the week!

Wednesday – 12pm – 2am

Although this may seem a little pricey compared to Vega (Blog 3), Bowlarama also offers an exclusive ‘Student Club’, entitling all students to discounted drinks (Monday – Thursday, 12pm – 5pm), half price burgers, and ‘buy one, get one free’ bowling – with valid student ID – therefore, making it an ideal destination for students looking to save some money! Having visited both Bowlarama and Vega, my preference is Vega; however, Bowlarama’s ‘Student Club’ is excellent for cheap drinks and those looking for an inexpensive night!
