Looking for an alternative pub night, or possibly a trip down memory lane, then NQ64 has you covered! Located in the basement of Merchant Square in Glasgow City Centre, NQ64 is a retro themed arcade bar, splattered in neon paint, and features a variety of classic consoles from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, including Pac-Man, Tetris, Space Invaders, Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, Mario Kart and so much more! In addition to their everlasting game selection, NQ64 also boasts an extensive range of arcade themed cocktails, taking a spin on some of the classics, including ‘Pacs A Punch’, ‘Lake Springfield’ and ‘Mega Daisy’ – of course, based off ‘Pac-Man’, ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘Mario Kart’. Alternatively, there is also a wide selection of beers, wines and mocktails available. Jungle Rumble: Jungle Rumble, situated on Bath Street – just off Buchanan Street, is yet another mini golf classic! Players can choose to play one of two adventure golf courses – Surfer’s Paradise and Indian Ocean – and enjoy a night full of drinks in one of their two jungle themed bars. Although, in my opinion, Jungle Rumble isn’t quite as good as Golf Fang (Blog 1), Jungle Rumble do offer extensive packages – starting at a minimum of £5pp, and student discounts – making it a more affordable night out for students! Feeling thirsty? Don’t worry, Jungle Rumble offers a variety of classics drinks, including their renowned slushie’s and limited-edition Halloween themed cocktails, accompanied by a limited selection of snacks including nachos, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeno bites!    Address – 15 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 1HY    Website –  https://glasgow.junglerumble.co.uk/   Instagram – @junglerumbleglasgow   Facebook – Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf Glasgo...

Glasgow Subcrawl

Image
What is Glasgow known for? Many things, but for the purpose of this blog, we're referring to the infamous Glasgow Subcrawl. Thanks to Glasgow's long lasting booze culture and operating the fourth oldest underground system in the world, it's no doubt that the two haven't crossed paths. Whether you're new to the city, or have lived here your whole life, there's no excuse to not give it a go, trust me, it won't disappoint! So, do you think you have what it takes to make your way around all 15 stops of Glasgow's underground without being the liability of the group, or stumbling your way down the shaky and wobbly subway carriages? If so, grab your friends (the more, the better), test your stomach, and take on the challenge! Honestly, its one of the best days out in Glasgow! But before you go, there are a couple of things you should know: Make sure you start early! possibly late morning if you're feeling adventurous, or early afternoon at the latest to giv...

Golf Fang

Attention golfers! This is not just your typical mini golf course! Located in Finnieston, and only a 19-minute walk from Sauchiehall Street, players can immerse themselves into an entertainment fuelled oasis while navigating their way through brilliantly designed and uniquely creative holes. Whether you’re spending the night at Bate’s Motel or find yourself on The Jeremy Kyle Show, this venue perfectly captures the best of entertainment and offers exclusive photo opportunities to last a lifetime and share across social media platforms.    In addition to mini golf, players can also enjoy Golf Fang’s street food menu (serving classics like chicken wings, burgers and vegan bites) along with signature themed cocktails (£7.60) – all whilst dining in an art infused warehouse (painted by some of Glasgow’s top graffiti artists). Even whilst dining, there are sights to keep your eyes busy! Don’t worry though, if cocktails aren’t your thing, there is also a wide selection of beers, cide...
